Overview

The Web Developer will support the design, development, testing, and ongoing maintenance of HayPass website and web-based applications. This role offers hands-on experience in creating user-friendly, responsive, and visually engaging web experiences while contributing to projects that strengthen HayPass online presence and improve user experience. Working closely with the communication & IT team, the successful candidate will assist in implementing new website features, optimizing performance, maintaining website content and troubleshooting technical issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements.
  • Translate UI/UX wireframes and designs into responsive, high-performance web pages using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
  • Help build, test, and integrate RESTful APIs or serverless functions using Node.js / Python / PHP / Ruby.
  • Design, implement, and support secure authentication and identity management solutions, including one or more of the following: SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), Single Sign-On (SSO), etc.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs, improve page load speeds, and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
  • Contribute to both frontend and backend development tasks assigned.
  • Participate in code reviews and implement recommended improvements.
Required Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technologies, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency in both English and Armenian, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice To Have:
  • Familiarity with at least one backend technology (Node.js, Python, PHP, or Ruby) is an advantage.
