Overview

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and web applications
  • Build custom WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable PHP code following best practices
  • Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across websites
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design across all devices
  • Manage website updates, security, backups, and ongoing maintenance
  • Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Perform code reviews and maintain coding standards
  • Stay up to date with WordPress, PHP, and web development best practices
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in WordPress and PHP development
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, WordPress, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Solid understanding of WordPress architecture, hooks, templates, and REST API
  • Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), Custom Post Types, and WooCommerce
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs and web services
  • Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
  • Knowledge of website optimization, caching, and performance best practices
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices for WordPress websites
  • Basic understanding of web security principles and WordPress security best practices
