Evoca is looking for Chief Technology Officer (CTO) who will be responsible for overseeing the Bank’s technology strategy; leading IT, Programming, Project Management and Operational Systems Divisions, and ensuring that our technology solutions meet the highest standards of security, efficiency, and innovation. CTO will play a key role in driving digital transformation and supporting the Bank’s growth objectives through cutting-edge technology initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the Bank's business goals;
  • Support the digital transformation efforts including the adoption of new technologies and platforms to improve operational efficiency and customer experience;
-Oversee the management of the Bank's IT infrastructure, ensuring it is robust, scalable, and secure;
  • Ensure the smooth operation of IT systems, including core banking systems, cybersecurity and disaster recovery processes;
  • Monitor and manage IT risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices;
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement;
  • Manage relationships with external technology vendors, partners and service providers to ensure the Bank's technology needs are met effectively and efficiently;
  • Collaborate with product development teams to create and implement new digital banking products and services;
  • Drive the development and implementation of mobile and online banking platforms ensuring a seamless and secure customer experience;
  • Work closely with the CEO, executive team and board of directors to align technology initiatives with the Bank’s strategic vision.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (Master's degree is preferred);
  • At least 10 years of experience in IT leadership roles, preferably within the financial services industry:
  • Proven track record of leading and managing large-scale IT projects;
  • Experience in managing budgets and resources efficiently;
  • Extensive knowledge in relevant technologies including software development, system architecture and emerging tech trends;
  • Deep understanding of banking operations, financial technologies (FinTech) and regulatory requirements;
  • Ability to lead and mentor technical teams, fostering a collaborative environment;
  • Strong analytical skills to address complex technical issues and devise effective solutions;
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language;
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity protocols and best practices in the financial sector;
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning;
  • Excellent command of Russian and English.
