Overview

Responsibilities:
  • Positively contribute to coaching product teams and individuals, with different levels of expertise and different background, into an Agile way of working and thinking
  • Work on continuous development and improvement of methods (together with other Agile Coaches) and incorporate them into day-to-day work of the teams
  • Teach by example how to conduct regular team events (i.e sprint planning, retrospective, etc.) and ad-hoc meetings and brainstorming sessions
  • Ensure the organization does not fall back to old ways of working by staying focused on improvement
  • Assist Product Owners and teams how to compose their goals (OKRs), develop a working plan based on them, and adjust it on a regular basis to ensure transparency and cross-team synchronization
  • Help teams and management to succeed in a fast-paced environment by identifying dependencies, risks, and inefficiency and suggesting customized solutions on how to manage them. Strong bias for action is required.
  • Keep an objective perspective on issues and troubleshoot by applying agile principles
  • Ensure that the Agile Way of Working methodology is aligned with the company's needs and priorities, properly codified, and efficiently communicated to employees through trainings and supporting materials. Identify issues and successes of Squads
  • Drive the continual improvement that underlies truly being Agile at all levels of the organization
  • Provide Agile Coaching to Tribe (Tech) Leads, Product Owners and Squad Members
Required Qualifications:
  • Subject matter expertise in domain of application e.g., design thinking in product development
  • Technical expertise in domain of application e.g., expertise in e2e software development lifecycle, DevOps and IT architecture
  • Strong communication skills to teach and convey messages in a professional form
  • Understanding of agile concepts, tools and techniques deeply on team and system level
  • Emotional intelligence, mentoring and conflict resolution skills
  • Identification and handling team dysfunction, ability to coach and train individuals and teams in ways of working
  • Driving and sustaining organizational change, e.g., identify and remove system level blockers
  • Strong performance orientation and understanding of value creation
  • Understanding of the core levers of the business, curiosity to learn more
  • Prioritization of time and attention to what drives business results
  • Interaction with and engagement of senior business stakeholders
  • Exercise non-biased decision making with the primary aim to build high performing squads, develop squad members and outputs that matter to client
