Background:
WWF Armenian Branch (WWF-Armenia) is WWF international Branch in Armenia with efficient operating systems, professional and skilled staff, and strong financial resources, delivering conservation impact on issues that are key for WWF Network Initiatives and other global conservation priorities. Major Functions:
The Digital Marketing Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing WWF Armenia’s digital fundraising initiatives and supporting donor relationships. This includes creating and optimizing digital campaigns, enhancing donor engagement through online platforms, and ensuring the effective use of digital tools to maximize fundraising efforts.
The Digital Marketing Officer reports to the Partnership and Corporate Fundraising Manager.

Responsibilities:

Digital Fundraising Strategy and Implementation:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital fundraising strategy, action plan;
  • Optimize digital fundraising activities, focusing on messaging, approach, landing pages, and user experience;
  • Design, manage, and evaluate digital fundraising campaigns to expand and enhance donor relationships.

Digital Campaigns and Promotions:
  • Develop and manage digital advertising campaigns on various platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads);
  • Create and execute promotional strategies to drive donor engagement and donations;
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of digital campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve fundraising goals.

Social Media Fundraising:
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to enhance fundraising efforts;
  • Create engaging content for social media platforms to promote fundraising campaigns;
  • Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and optimize future efforts.

Donor Engagement and Online Community Building:
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with online donors and supporters;
  • Promote one-off donations and regular giving through digital channels;
  • Build and sustain online communities to support WWF Armenia’s mission and fundraising goals.

Online Donor Journey and Campaign Development:
  • Develop and maintain the online donor journey, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for donors;
  • Create and implement new digital fundraising campaigns.

Annual Planning and Stakeholder Coordination:
  • Organize and manage the annual calendar for online communications and fundraising initiatives;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders relevant to WWF’s digital fundraising efforts.

Donor Data Management:
  • Maintain and update donor information in the database accurately and efficiently;
  • Ensure all donor records are current and complete;
  • Track and manage data related to donor contributions, cancellations, and updates.

Donor Communication:
  • Make calls to donors to confirm details, thank them for their contributions, and address
any questions or concerns;
  • Assist in the coordination of donor communication efforts, including sending thank-you
letters and receipts;
  • Handle routine inquiries from donors via phone and email.

Required Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, management, PR, communications, humanities, or a related field;
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in public fundraising, marketing, communications, project management, or a related field, with an emphasis on digital fundraising or similar;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Armenian;
  • Demonstrated successful experience in digital fundraising or high-value sales is an advantage;
  • Experience in an international organization is an advantage.

Required Skills and Competencies:
  • Excellent content writing skills;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • In-depth knowledge of digital fundraising platforms;
  • Proficiency in digital advertising tools (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads);
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and strategies;

Working Relationships:
Internal: Extensive interaction with other departments at WWF Armenia, WWF CauPO offices, WWF International, National Organizations, and Programme Offices.
