Overview

The Frontend Developer-React will take ownership of applicable existing My Viva web/frontend components and subsequently develop, modernize and support React-based customer and internal interfaces associated with the My Viva ecosystem.

Responsibilities:
  • Review existing React/frontend source code and architecture.
  • Receive repositories and establish local development environment.
  • Understand frontend modules, components and routing.
  • Review API integrations and authentication/authorization flows.
  • Review state-management approach and application configuration.
  • Review dependencies, package management and build tooling.
  • Understand CI/CD and frontend deployment process.
  • Identify technical debt, obsolete dependencies and known defects.
  • Demonstrate independent build and deployment capability through reverse-KT.
  • Maintain and enhance existing React-based functionality.
  • Develop new interfaces and reusable frontend components.
  • Participate in frontend architecture modernization.
  • Implement the approved My Viva design system.
  • Integrate frontend functionality with backend APIs.
  • Improve performance, maintainability and code quality.
  • Implement responsive and accessible interfaces.
  • Perform peer code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot frontend production issues.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and defect resolution.
  • Support production deployments and hotfixes.
  • Address browser/device compatibility issues.
