Outline of the role
This role will support Zinc clients in strengthening their public communications and improving citizen engagement through systematic media monitoring.
Working in close collaboration with the Zinc clients, the role will focus on monitoring and analysing the information environment to identify emerging narratives, risks, and opportunities. The Information Space Monitoring Specialist will play a key role in providing timely insights to inform strategic communications and response efforts.
This includes:
– Monitoring traditional media, social media, and digital platforms
– Identifying emerging narratives, trends, and potential risks in the information space
– Analysing disinformation and malign information influence activities
– Providing regular reporting and real-time alerts to stakeholders
– Supporting evidence-based communication and rapid response efforts
What you’ll be doing
We are seeking an Information Space Monitoring Specialist to support Zinc clients in understanding and responding to the evolving information environment. You will work closely with client stakeholders and project teams, contributing to monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
You will:
– Monitor media and online platforms to track narratives and trends
– Identify and analyse misinformation, disinformation, and influence activities
– Produce clear, concise reports and briefings for stakeholders
– Provide early warning of emerging risks or information threats
– Support rapid response efforts with timely insights
– Collaborate with communication, analysis, and content teams
– Ensure all outputs align with relevant legal, ethical, and editorial standards
This is a full-time role running through 30 June, 2026
Key Responsibilities
– Conduct daily monitoring of the information environment
– Analyse narratives, actors, and trends across platforms
– Produce regular analytical reports and real-time updates
– Maintain monitoring tools, keyword lists, and tracking frameworks
– Support coordination with relevant stakeholders
– Manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively Requirements Section:
Qualifications & Experience
– Experience in media monitoring, analysis, research, or related fields
– Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
– Familiarity with the information environment and disinformation dynamics
– Experience with monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. social listening platforms)
– Ability to synthesise complex information into clear insights
– Strong organisational and time management skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
– Experience working with government, NGOs, or international organisations is desirable
– Fluent Armenian required. English proficiency a plus. Benefits Section:
