Overview

The Senior iOS Developer will take technical ownership of the existing My Viva iOS application and subsequently maintain, support, enhance and participate in its modernization/rewrite.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in vendor KT for the existing iOS application.
  • Review application architecture, source code, modules and dependencies.
  • Establish and validate the local iOS development environment.
  • Understand API integrations, authentication, session management and error handling.
  • Review third-party frameworks, SDKs and package dependencies.
  • Review push notifications, universal/deep links, analytics and crash reporting.
  • Understand application configurations and environment management.
  • Review certificates, provisioning profiles, signing and entitlements.
  • Understand Apple Developer and App Store Connect configuration and release process.
  • Review Keychain and sensitive-data handling.
  • Capture known issues, technical debt, workarounds and undocumented implementation knowledge.
  • Perform reverse-KT demonstrating independent build, debugging and release capability.
  • Maintain and enhance the existing native iOS application.
  • Implement new business requirements and improvements.
  • Participate in target mobile architecture definition.
  • Ensure existing iOS functionality and platform-specific requirements are considered during migration.
  • Improve application performance, maintainability, security and reliability.
  • Provide L3 support for iOS production issues.
  • Address compatibility issues caused by new iOS versions and Apple requirements.
  • Support App Store submission and production release activities.
