IU Networks LLC is looking for a Junior software engineer.

Responsibilities:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of front-end (FE) and/or back-end (BE) programming languages and be eager to develop their skills further in a collaborative environment. This role is perfect for recent graduates or individuals with limited professional experience but strong educational background and project experience.

  • Develop software applications, participating in the full software development lifecycle including planning, designing, coding, testing, and maintenance
  • Work closely with other engineers, including pair programming and participating in code reviews to ensure best practices and knowledge sharing
  • Write and maintain unit tests, and collaborate with the QA team to define and implement comprehensive test strategies to ensure product quality
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to bring innovative solutions to the team
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and/or back-end languages (e.g., Java, Python, Ruby)
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g. Angular) and/or back-end frameworks (e.g., Springboot)
  • Experience with version control systems
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum)
  • Internship or project experience showcasing software development skills is a big plus
  • Passion for technology and a drive to continuously improve
