Overview

Responsibilities:
  • Develops legislation (including secondary legislation) related to the regulation and supervision of the financial system and the provision of financial services, and provides legal opinions and expert conclusions on draft laws and regulations, policies developed within the CBA, as well as other documents and correspondence
  • Provides legal support and advisory services for supervision and licensing activities
  • Carries out the CBA’s corporate legal services (drafting contracts, registering rights)
  • Represents the CBA’s interests in court proceedings
  • Implements legal (including policy-related) risk management across all internal processes of the CBA, as well as in the area of external relations
Required Qualifications:
  • Higher education in Law
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of corporate law
  • Understanding of financial system legislation
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law
  • In-depth knowledge of civil law
  • In-depth knowledge of civil procedure
  • Knowledge of the Tax Code
  • In-depth knowledge of the Law on Normative Legal Acts
  • Knowledge of international law
  • Excellent command of Armenian
  • Fluency in English and Russian
