The Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia (VWFA) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Specialist to drive the promotion of Armenian wines on both local and international markets. This role involves developing innovative strategies, managing large-scale events, and enhancing the global recognition of Armenian wines. Key responsibilities include:

Responsibilities:
  • Development and implementation of marketing strategies aimed at advancing Armenia’s viticulture and winemaking sectors using marketing tools and solutions;
  • Increasing the international recognition of Armenian wines by promoting them in global markets and enhancing their reputation;
  • Developing and spreading wine culture by actively engaging professional communities, tourists, and wine enthusiasts;
  • Raising awareness about the wine industry by organizing informational events for the local public;
  • Promoting the sales of Armenian wines in the EU market through innovative marketing and sales strategies, as well as utilizing e-commerce platforms;
  • Organizing international and local events to present Armenian wines to professional communities, journalists, tourists, and industry experts;
  • Monitoring and coordinating the results of marketing campaigns in line with predefined targets and plans;
  • Organizing large-scale events in collaboration with donor organizations and partners;
  • Managing wine industry digitalization projects, including identifying digital needs and implementing solutions;
  • Conducting analytical research to study wine culture and consumption in the domestic market and identify new market opportunities;
  • Performing other duties and tasks as assigned by the Executive Director of the Foundation when necessary.
Required Qualifications:
  • Higher education in marketing, public relations, or related fields;
  • At least 5 years of work experience in marketing, public relations, and/or the wine industry;
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing marketing strategies;
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills;
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Russian to ensure effective communication in international markets.
