AeroDynamics is looking for a Materials Planning Specialist.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage plans for materials needed for production and customer orders
  • Identify potential risks that could impact the production schedule and develop strategies to minimize these risks
  • Create purchase requisitions based on materials planning
  • Monitor and check inventory levels and adjust orders to avoid running out of stock or having outdated stock
  • Work with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure materials arrive on time
  • Keep track of the accuracy of the Bill of Materials (BOM) and check inventory levels to ensure they match recorded data
  • Identify potential risks that could impact the production schedule and develop strategies to minimize these risks.
  • Analyze past data and trends to make better planning decisions
  • Use data tools and software to create reports on inventory performance
  • Suggest improvements based on analysis and findings
  • Conduct routine inventory audits and support inventory checks to ensure accuracy
  • Develop and follow procedures to fix inventory issues
  • Work with warehouse and procurement teams to solve inventory problems
  • Work with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure materials planning meets business needs
  • Provide insights to help manage inventory and reduce costs
  • Prepare and share reports on planning, inventory levels, and audit results with management
  • Keep accurate records of inventory and planning activities
  • Follow company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards
  • Keep accurate documentation and records related to inventory and materials
  • Perform other duties assigned by manager
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in materials planning, inventory management, or a similar role
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and planning software (e.g., Excel, ERP systems)
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with various teams
  • Knowledge of inventory control principles
  • Proficiency in English sufficient for clear and accurate written communication and documentation
