Overview

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor the mediation servers
  • Create new or change old configuration according to billing requirements
  • Perform full testing of the new created configurations
  • Monitor the mediation server on daily basis, check the logs, system mails, alarm and error messages, and etc.
  • Add new services needed for billing and reporting systems
  • Monitor the provisioning servers
  • Create new or change old configuration according to billing or core staff requirements
  • Perform full testing of the new created configuration
  • Monitor the application on daily basis, check the logs, system mails, error messages, and etc
  • Ensure documentation of application configuration and procedures
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or information technology
  • 1 to 2 years of work experience as a mediation engineer in the telecom industry
  • 1 to 2 years of work experience in software development
  • Good knowledge of Linux system administration and shell scripting
  • Good programming language and scripting
  • Good knowledge of IP networking and firewalls
  • Good knowledge of operating system optimizations and fine tuning
  • Good knowledge of billing and CDR (Call Detail Record) formats
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple assignments within critical deadlines
  • Ability to effectively manage change
  • Ability to interact in a positive manner with internal and external contacts
  • Good knowledge of Armenian, English and Russian languages
  • Adaptability/Flexibility
  • Problem solving
