The American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia (AmCham) is looking for a motivated candidate to fill the permanent position of AmCham PR and Marketing Lead who will be able to meet strict deadlines, work, communicate and negotiate with the business community and contribute to coordination of daily operations.

Responsibilities:
The PR & Marketing Lead will perform the following responsibilities under the supervision of the Executive Director:
Plan and Organize AmCham formal and non-formal events:
  • Plan, organize, and lead all AmCham events;
  • Budget monthly and annual events of the Chamber;
  • Design and disseminate AmCham event invitations to the AmCham community and external partners on behalf of the Chamber;
  • Engage sponsors and partners for AmCham events;
  • Coordinate and lead AmCham Media Team;
  • Lead Member of the Month project, including organization of video shooting with Media Team;
  • Keep complete records, documentation (archives), and statistics of the events;
  • Maintain email communication with AmCham members, relevant external partners and U.S. Embassy (as needed);
  • Do an accurate email dissemination and manage AmCham general e-mail accounts ([email protected], [email protected]).

Carry out AmCham Marketing activities:
  • Manage and oversee AmCham website;
  • Manage and oversee AmCham social media channels (Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram);
  • Design and disseminate the AmCham Monthly Newsletter (digital), weekly news digest;
  • Draft press releases and other correspondence materials;
  • Maintain contact with Armenian, U.S. and other media outlets, schedule press coverages and interviews.

  • Support Executive Director in tasks related to the daily operations of the Chamber;
  • Implement other tasks by the Executive Director and AmCham Board of Directors.
Required Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications and related fields;
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience;
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and negotiation skills;
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken Armenian and English (other languages are an asset);
  • Ability to work with senior executives and high-profile stakeholders;
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to work under pressure;
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines;
  • Strong sense of cultural diversity;
  • Great organizational skills and attention to details;
  • Excellent command of Microsoft office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.), WordPress, Photoshop / Canva.
