Overview
The Product Owner will lead requirements definition, data product design, and stakeholder alignment across business and technical teams. The role ensures that data products, insights, and governance processes align with business objectives and deliver clarity, consistency, and measurable value. Client: Our client is an international association of financial industry professionals, bringing together more than 200,000 investment experts worldwide. The organization operates over one hundred applications and is launching a major initiative to modernize and upgrade its systems. Project Overview:
- Lead requirements gathering with business stakeholders, defining user stories, acceptance criteria, and data-related use cases.
- Manage the backlog for data governance, data quality, data enrichment, and data insights workstreams.
- Define data products and support lifecycle management, prioritization, and adoption planning.
- Contribute to the creation of data definitions, data contracts, and quality requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and analytics teams to ensure feasibility, technical alignment, and solution consistency.
- Facilitate stakeholder reviews, product demonstrations, and value‑tracking activities.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis, product ownership, or data‑focused roles.
- Strong understanding of the data lifecycle, data governance principles, and analytics workflows.
- Experience working with agile delivery teams.
- Excellent documentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
