Overview

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Lead with hands on expertise in Playwright MCP and TypeScript, combined with a strong background in leading QA and QE teams. You will guide both technical and organizational aspects of quality engineering, helping the team adopt effective automation strategies and delivering high quality software.

Our client is one of the largest professional certification associations in the finance industry globally and uses DataArt as its primary technology partner.
Project Overview:
This project focuses on building and enhancing a scalable quality engineering ecosystem that supports modern product delivery. You will help shape automation practices and drive quality across the entire lifecycle while working with cross functional teams. The project nickname is Quality Platform.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the QE team and coordinate daily quality engineering activities
  • Define and drive the test automation strategy using Playwright MCP and TypeScript
  • Collaborate with developers and product stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and test suites
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to QA and QE engineers
  • Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and delivery coordination
  • Review test coverage, identify gaps, and propose improvements
  • Support CI CD integration and implement quality gates in the delivery pipeline
  • Promote best practices in testing, automation, and quality ownership
  • Contribute to a collaborative and high performing team environment
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a QA Lead or QE Lead role
  • Hands on experience with Playwright MCP
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript
  • Solid experience in test automation and framework design
  • Experience leading or mentoring QA or QE engineers
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and QA processes
  • Experience working in agile environments with close collaboration with development teams
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem solving skills
  • Experience managing stakeholders and aligning quality goals across teams
Nice To Have:
  • Experience with CI CD tools and pipeline optimization
  • Knowledge of performance or security testing practices
  • Experience working with cloud based environments
  • Familiarity with additional automation tools or frameworks
