Overview

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases to ensure software quality
  • Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications, identifying and documenting defects
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and define testing strategies
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
  • Report, track, and validate defects using issue-tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.)
  • Verify bug fixes and ensure software stability before releases
  • Perform API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI
  • Continuously improve QA processes, methodologies, and best practices
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in software testing
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment is an advantage
  • Experience in functional, regression, and integration testing
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
  • Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices
  • Experience with bug-tracking and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr)
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI)
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation
  • Understanding of RESTful services and web applications
  • Ability to write clear and structured test cases based on product requirements
  • Knowledge of test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, etc.) and bug-tracking systems (JIRA)
  • Knowledge of API testing and database validation
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
