Picsart is looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our Templates team, which is responsible for building and maintaining a seamless experience for users interacting with our templates library. Our team ensures that the photo editor works flawlessly across all platforms while continuously improving its functionality and performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain advanced Android applications with a focus on photo editing and templates functionality.
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the app.
  • Work on bug fixing, optimization, and performance tuning to deliver a smooth user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Maintain clean, structured, and scalable code while following best engineering practices.
  • Contribute to code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-making.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Android technologies and best practices.
  • Mentor and support junior developers within the team.
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in native Android development (Kotlin, Java).
  • Strong understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and UI/UX principles.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, offline storage, threading, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with graphics processing, media handling, and rendering techniques.
  • Proficient in version control tools (Git, GitHub, or GitLab).
  • Solid knowledge of software development principles and Android platform limitations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Good team collaboration and communication skills.
  • Working proficiency in English.
