Overview
You will work on a Digital Operations Platform that supports business stakeholders in managing core processes, reporting, and decision making. The platform integrates several internal and external systems to provide a unified experience for operations teams and management. Client: Our client is a global full-service contract research organization (CRO) that specializes in clinical development services for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries Project Overview:
- Act as a primary contact for business stakeholders regarding product features, priorities, and delivery plans
- Elicit, analyze, and document business needs, processes, and rules in a clear and structured way
- Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation for the development team
- Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that items are clearly described, prioritized, and ready for implementation
- Facilitate backlog refinement, planning, and review sessions together with the Product Manager and the development team
- Collaborate with UX specialists to shape user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes that reflect business goals and user needs
- Work with technical team members to clarify requirements, assess feasibility, and align on solution approaches
- Define and agree on acceptance criteria and support the team in verifying that delivered functionality meets them
- Support quality assurance activities by clarifying business scenarios, edge cases, and expected outcomes
- Experience in a Senior Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar product facing role in an IT environment
- Background of at least five years in business analysis, product ownership, or a closely related discipline
- Practical experience working with agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban in a product team setup
- Proven record of writing clear user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria for development teams
- Experience in stakeholder management, including cooperation with business users, managers, and technical teams
- Ability to model and analyze business processes using notations such as BPMN or similar approaches
- Understanding of system integration concepts, including REST APIs, data flows, and dependencies between services
- Experience in a pure Product Owner role, owning a product roadmap and release planning
- Background in domains such as operations, finance, ecommerce, or enterprise platforms
- Familiarity with UX discovery practices such as user interviews, usability testing, or journey mapping
- Experience with additional analysis or visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar
- Knowledge of event driven architecture concepts and message based integrations
