Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data Software Engineer to join the MDG Tech team, responsible for designing, operating and supporting the end-to-end MDM integration flow between Syndigo and legacy systems, including inbound/outbound processing, mapping, error handling and operational monitoring.

Responsibilities:
  • Take shared ownership in the development of the technical integration across Syndigo, legacy and downstream interfaces
  • Ensure data quality and mapping consistency between inbound source files and outbound update messages
  • Support production stability through monitoring, alerting and dead-letter queue handling
  • Build a maintainable and scalable solution that supports both initial load and ongoing update flows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align integration solutions with business requirements
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and system reliability
Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering at a senior level
  • Expertise in AWS (DynamoDB, Lambdas, SQS, ECS, Fargate), Confluent Kafka and Terraform
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Skills in CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket and Jenkins
  • Background in cloud integration and MDM/Syndigo
  • Solid understanding of data flows, interfaces, mappings and production support considerations
  • AWS certification
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher
