Hosteeva LLC is looking for a Tax Agent.

Responsibilities:
  • Tax Research: Conduct in-depth research on local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
  • Tax Setup for Properties: Manage and oversee the tax setup for newly listed properties, ensuring proper classification and accurate documentation
  • Local Tax Reports: Prepare and submit local tax reports on time, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulation
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, ensuring that tax-related transactions are accurately reflected in company statements
  • Compliance: Ensure all tax filings and reports meet local, state, and federal regulations, and stay updated on any changes in tax law
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as accounting and finance to ensure accurate tax data is included in overall financial reports
  • Tax Audits: Assist in the preparation and management of tax audits, providing required documentation and responding to inquiries from tax authorities
  • Official Communication: Handle official communication via email, drafting clear, concise, and professional messages related to tax setup and other tax-related matters
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Proven experience in tax research, tax setup, and tax reporting
  • Strong understanding of local tax laws and regulations
  • Experience in property tax management is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
