Overview

As a Tech Ops Specialist, you will be a key member of our Managed Services team, responsible for the day-to-day operations and support of our OneTick platform. You will work closely with our clients, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of their data management and analytics solutions. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, high level of responsibility, and customer service excellence. Responsibilities:
  • Continuously monitor and ensure the optimal health and performance of the OneTick platform, whether deployed in cloud environments or client data centers.
  • Follow runbooks to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data delivery and server application.
  • Enhance and improve the monitoring of OneTick and related processes.
  • Perform regular system maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with clients and vendors to inform them about critical issues and resolutions.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including development and support, to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Assist in the implementation and deployment of new features and enhancements of the deployment.
Required Qualifications:
  • High Sense of Responsibility: Demonstrates strong accountability and reliability.
  • Night Shift Availability: Ability to work night shifts as required.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Linux bash commands and scripting.
  • Basic scripting skills in Python.
  • Proven experience in a technical operations or support role.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Nagios, Prometheus) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and trading systems is an advantage.
