Overview

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with department heads to identify training needs and create effective learning solutions
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify training priorities and develop learning strategies accordingly
  • Prepare a detailed training plan along with a scheduled calendar of sessions
  • Design, develop, and deliver in-house training programs tailored to various roles and departments
  • Create engaging training materials, including facilitator and participant guides, manuals, presentations, job aids, and visual support (e.g., brochures, posters)
  • Prepare and organize training sessions, including materials setup and logistical coordination
  • Facilitate various training formats such as stand-up training, interactive workshops and soft skills development programs
  • Deliver engaging training sessions for team members across all departments
  • Organize onboarding and orientation of new team members
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, and adjust programs as needed
  • Ensure service standards and operational procedures are understood and consistently applied. Help maintain high standards of service and performance
  • Oversee and monitor the internal Digital Learning Zone platform to ensure all Marriott-mandated trainings and programs are completed by employees on time
  • Oversee Marriott's TakeCare program by developing and implementing a monthly TakeCare plan, engaging TakeCare Champions, and tracking results
  • Play a key role in building a strong learning culture
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Trainer, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of learners
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and training best practices
  • Fluency in Armenian and English languages
  • Flexibility to work across different shifts if required
Nice To Have:
  • knowledge of Russian is a plus
