Job Description

KNAUF Armenia LLC is looking for a self-motivated, honest, proactive, and highly principled professional for the position of Chief Accountant. The successful candidate will oversee and manage the company’s full spectrum of accounting functions.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise all accounting activities of the Company Accounting Department
  • Prepare and submit internal financial and management reports required by the management of the Company and the Group, in the formats and within the timeframes specified by them
  • Create and submit financial reports to local tax authorities and other interested state bodies
  • Oversee and execute functions related to imports, including accounting entries and the preparation and submission of relevant reports
  • Oversee and manage the recording and monitoring of accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management reports
  • Organize the document circulation associated with the general, economic and financial activities of the Company
  • Perform other job-related assignments given by the Company Executive
Required Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant field
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Chief Accountant
  • Excellent knowledge of the tax legislation of the Republic of Armenia, as well as the fundamentals and standards of accounting
  • Ability to orient oneself quickly in extreme and high-pressure conditions, and to work under a heavy workload
  • Highly responsible and accurate person who is extremely attentive to details
  • Excellent computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) and accounting software packages (Armenian Software)
  • Excellent speaking and writing skills in Armenian, Russian and English languages
