Overview

The DID Manager will be responsible for the overall management and development of Dialtel’s DID business. The role includes managing DID inventory, suppliers and telecom operators, pricing, routing, service quality, and commercial performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage Dialtel’s DID inventory across different countries, operators, and number types
  • Monitor number availability, utilization, and capacity
  • Coordinate DID activation, suspension, cancellation, replacement, and porting
  • Maintain accurate DID inventory and supplier information
  • Ensure numbers are available to support Sales and customer requirements
  • Manage relationships with DID suppliers, carriers, and telecom operators
  • Negotiate commercial terms, DID costs, monthly fees, setup fees, and other charges
  • Identify new DID suppliers and operators to expand Dialtel’s geographical coverage
  • Regularly evaluate supplier quality, pricing, availability, and reliability
  • Resolve commercial and operational issues with suppliers
  • Coordinate with the NOC and Technical teams to ensure correct DID routing and configuration
  • Ensure DIDs are properly connected to SIP trunks, PBX systems, or customer destinations
  • Coordinate testing and troubleshooting of inbound calling services
  • Monitor routing quality, call completion, CLI presentation, and service availability
  • Escalate and follow up on technical issues with suppliers and internal teams
  • Support the Sales team with DID availability, pricing, and country-specific requirements
  • Provide accurate information regarding available number types and service conditions
  • Evaluate customer requests and confirm technical and commercial feasibility
  • Coordinate DID activation and implementation for new customers
  • Support Sales with special DID requirements and customer escalations
  • Maintain and regularly review DID cost and selling prices
  • Ensure pricing remains competitive while protecting Dialtel’s margins
  • Monitor profitability by country, supplier, and number type
  • Identify opportunities to reduce DID costs and improve margins
  • Review low-margin or unprofitable DID services and propose corrective actions
  • Ensure DID services comply with local telecom regulations and supplier requirements
  • Coordinate KYC and documentation requirements where applicable
  • Monitor changes in numbering regulations and country-specific requirements
  • Ensure customer and number documentation is properly maintained
  • Prepare regular reports covering DID inventory, activations, utilization, costs, revenue, and margins
  • Monitor supplier performance and agreed SLAs
  • Track service incidents, customer complaints, and resolution times
  • Provide management with regular updates and recommendations for business improvement
  • Work closely with Sales, NOC, Technical, Billing, Finance, and Management
  • Establish clear internal processes for DID requests, testing, activation, and cancellation
  • Ensure DID-related requests are handled within agreed timelines
  • Improve operational processes to reduce manual work and service delays
Required Qualifications:
  • 3–5+ years of experience in telecommunications, VoIP, DID, numbering, or carrier services
  • Strong understanding of SIP, VoIP, DID, CLI, routing, and telecom interconnections
  • Experience working with international carriers and telecom suppliers
  • Good commercial and negotiation skills
  • Understanding of telecom pricing and margin structures
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with Sales, NOC, Technical, Billing, and Finance teams
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Good command of English
