Overview

The Financial Reporting Specialist is responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. The role involves analyzing financial data from various departments to provide insights for decision-making and monitor the organization’s financial performance over time. Responsibilities include managing monthly reports for submission to management and the board, as well as maintaining the integrity and accuracy of all financial records. The position also supports strategic financial planning.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform revenue calculation, prepare a monthly revenue report (Armenia, Romania)
  • Prepare financial reports (partially for Armenia, fully for Romania and Spain)
  • Monitor cash flow (including direct flow) and prepare reports as needed (Armenia, Romania, Spain)
  • Manage Group budget preparation and coordination and complication of quarterly budget performance reports
  • Manage expense allocation and financial coordination between partner organizations within program-specific frameworks
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and prepare financial reports, document accounting policies according to accounting standards
  • Preparing timely and error-free documentation that demonstrates the financial position of the organization or company
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 5 years of work experience as a Financial Accountant, Financial Reporting Specialist, or a similar role
  • Knowledge of Armenian Software,1C, E-invoicing, and other related accounting software
  • Ability to write, interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
  • Financial planning (ability to create and implement a financial strategy for a company or individual)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Jira or similar project management tools
  • Strong sense of integrity and commitment to ethical conduct
  • Strong decision-making and strategic thinking
  • Fluent in Armenian, English, and Russian (written and spoken); knowledge of other languages is a plus
