Overview
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily IT operations across service desk, infrastructure, network, cybersecurity and IT-related OT support
- Ensure incidents and service requests are resolved within agreed service levels and drive continuous service improvement
- Maintain the availability, performance, integrity and lifecycle management of IT systems, networks, server room infrastructure, cloud platforms and end-user computing
- Manage hybrid cloud environments including Azure and Microsoft 365 and maintain key technology standards and registers
- Maintain system patching, upgrades, endpoint protection and other core operational security controls
- Own and maintain the ISMS and implement cybersecurity controls aligned with ISO 27001 principles
- Enforce access management, data protection and security governance controls
- Support secure OT operations through oversight of IT-side OT architecture, patching, antivirus and key security control reviews
- Lead and deliver IT and technology improvement projects in line with site and business priorities
- Participate in audits, risk assessments, incident response and the management of IT and information security risks
- Manage IT vendors, service providers, contracts, third-party security requirements and technology purchasing within approved authority
- Control the IT budget and drive cost-effective delivery of technology services
- Lead, coach and develop the site IT team
- Act as the key interface between site operations, corporate technology teams, vendors and the IT steering committee
- Supports data governance and maintain IT, OT and digital policies, procedures, registers etc
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 7+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 2 years in leadership role
- Experience in mining, industrial, or other operational environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, servers, cloud platforms, and end-user systems
- Exposure to OT, SCADA, or industrial control environments preferred
- Experience with Microsoft technologies including Azure and Microsoft 365
- Knowledge of IT service management, cybersecurity frameworks, and information security practices
- Understanding of IT governance, data protection, and information lifecycle management
- Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
- Proven project delivery and vendor management capability
