Overview

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate AUA Extension activities in the Syunik region (working from its office in Kapan)
  • Work closely with the AUA Extension team to identify regional priorities and strategies
  • Actively promote AUA Extension offerings throughout the Syunik region. Enable regional capacity development by filling existing knowledge and skill gaps based on regional priorities, local demand, and consideration of regional training needs in the region
  • Guide applicants in completing their registration to Extension courses
  • Engage in the process of Identifying new instructors and staff, as needed
  • Develop partnerships with local and regional governments, NGOs and private sector entities
  • Regularly update web pages and social media outlets about AUA Extension activities
  • Ensure the protection of equipment assigned to Kapan Extension
  • Prepare and process instructor acceptance acts; and
  • Perform other duties, as assigned by the immediate supervisor
Required Qualifications:
  • A resident understanding of the Kapan community along with 3-5 years’ of relevant experience
  • Graduate degree preferably in Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related fields
  • Knowledge of CRM and database management skills
  • Fluency in English and Armenian; knowledge of Russian could be a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills
