Overview
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to work closely with pricing, commercial, and analytical stakeholders to define and shape data‑driven solutions. This role focuses on gathering and structuring business requirements, defining pricing and sales KPIs, and identifying analytical opportunities that enhance decision-making across a high‑transaction retail and e‑commerce landscape. This position acts as a critical bridge between business teams and BI/Data teams, ensuring alignment, clarity, and high‑quality analytical outputs. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with evolving requirements, limited upfront definition, and fast‑paced commercial priorities. Client: Our client is a large European enterprise operating one of the region’s most extensive retail and e‑commerce ecosystems. The environment includes high‑traffic digital platforms, complex purchase funnels, and large‑scale marketing activities that rely heavily on advanced analytics to support commercial, pricing, and strategic decision‑making. Project Overview:
- Gather, document, and structure business requirements from pricing, commercial, and marketing stakeholders
- Define pricing and sales KPIs, metrics, and analytics use cases
- Proactively identify analytical opportunities and propose insights to support commercial and pricing decisions
- Collaborate closely with BI/Data Analysts, Data Engineers, and business teams
- Support development and validation of dashboards, reports, and analytical assets (Power BI)
- Work with ClickHouse or similar analytical DWH systems to source, prepare, and transform data
- Ensure alignment between business needs and analytical/technical solutions
- Drive clarity, structure, and prioritization in environments with incomplete or evolving requirements
- Support analytical discovery initiatives related to customer behavior, product performance, commercial efficiency, and pricing strategy
- Strong experience collecting, analyzing, and translating business requirements into actionable specifications
- Proven experience defining pricing KPIs, commercial metrics, and analytics use cases
- Hands-on experience working with BI/Data teams to deliver analytical solutions
- Experience with Power BI (Power Query, DAX) including building, validating, or interpreting dashboards and analytics
- Experience using ClickHouse
- Familiarity with DBT concepts (models, transformations, documentation) and how they support analytics workflows
- Ability to proactively propose analytical approaches and insights based on business context
- Comfortable working with evolving, unclear, or incomplete requirements
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management skills
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to structure complex commercial topics
