Overview

We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our team in Armenia and support the full employee lifecycle for our local office and internationally. This is a hands-on role covering HR operations, employee relations, onboarding and offboarding, HR administration, payroll coordination, performance management, employee engagement, local compliance, and recruitment support.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Prepare and maintain employment contracts, amendments, HR documentation, and employee records.
  • Manage leave, absences, employee changes, transfers, and other HR processes.
  • Ensure HR processes follow company policies and local requirements.
  • Act as the main HR contact for employees and managers.
  • Provide guidance on company policies, employment conditions, and HR processes.
  • Support managers with employee-related matters and workplace situations.
  • Handle sensitive matters with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Support hiring managers with recruitment.
  • Coordinate vacancies, job descriptions, candidate screening, interviews, and offers.
  • Conduct initial interviews where required and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Maintain recruitment data and candidate records.
  • Support talent pipeline and employer branding initiatives when needed.
  • Coordinate HR onboarding and ensure all documentation and processes are completed.
  • Manage HR offboarding processes, documentation, and communication with relevant teams.
  • Ensure a smooth employee experience throughout transitions.
  • Coordinate monthly payroll inputs and maintain accurate employee data.
  • Support benefits, leave, and other HR-related processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Armenian labour legislation and company policies.
  • Stay updated on local employment requirements and liaise with external providers or authorities when required.
  • Coordinate performance review cycles and support managers with performance-related matters.
  • Support training, development, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Contribute to a positive and professional workplace environment.
  • Support local and global HR projects and process improvements.
  • Identify ways to improve HR processes and employee experience.
  • Prepare HR reports and people-related data for management
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in an HR Generalist, HR Manager, HRBP, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of the full employee lifecycle and HR operations.
  • Good knowledge of Armenian labour legislation and local employment practices.
  • Hands-on experience with HR administration, employee relations, and payroll coordination.
  • Some experience supporting recruitment and hiring processes.
  • Experience with performance management and employee engagement.
  • International or fast-paced company experience is preferred.
  • Fluent Armenian and English.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • High level of confidentiality, maturity, and sound judgement

Relocation:
Work abroad up to 6 weeks per year (fully covered)
